Christmas Present!

なんやかんやクリスマスがあっという間に終わってしまいました～

遅くなってしまいましたがロンドンのイルミネーション！

一枚目はコベントガーデン。

2枚目は旦那の実家の近くにある街に飾られていたクリスマスツリー。

昼間見た時はなんかそっけなく見えたけど、夜はなかなかキレイに見えてた！

3枚目は娘がひとつ目のプレゼントを開けているところ！！

最初は大人しく開けてたけど、最後は「プレゼント～」と叫びながら人のまで開けてました。。

最後は娘がもらったプレゼントの一部。すでに炒めものを永遠としておりました。

ってか気付いたらすでに大みそか。。来年もよろしくお願いしまーす！！

How are you all doing? Hope you had lovely Christmas holidays. 

I can't believe it's all over already!

I know it's a little late but here are some illuminations from Covent Garden, one from near my husband's parent's house and then a picture of our daughter opening the first Christmas present of the year.

First she was opening them nicely but then she started shouting for more and more presents and then opening other people's gifts!

Finally some of her lovely presents from her grandparents, her uncle and her auntie.

Peppa Pig World!!!

先週末にPeppa Pig Worldに行ってきました！
このDay tripを計画してとても楽しみにしていた義母が怪我をしてしまい行けなくなったのがとても残念でしたが、私たち（娘、義父、旦那に私）4人で向かう事に。
まぁわかっていたことですが、一番楽しんでいたのはもちろん旦那。
でも私も思ったより楽しめたかも。
途中、サンタさんからプレゼントがもらえるというイベントを予約していたので特設のテントに入ったら、なんと、あの、ジャイ子が！！！号泣。。。お人形が沢山動いてて怖かったのか、出口を指さして出たがって大暴れ。ようやくサンタの居る部屋へ入ったはいいけど、もう泣き過ぎてサンタなんてどうでもいい娘。抱っこしてくれたのに、とにかく泣き叫びながら出口へ。。は～
来年は笑顔でサンタに会えるといいなぁ～

We took a trip down to Peppa Pig World near Southampton last weekend.
Sadly the person who planned the trip, my mother-in-law, was in an accident and couldn't come.
Myself, my daughter, husband and my father-in-law decided to go on anyways and as i predicted it was my husband who seemed to enjoy the day out the most!
We actually all had a really good time, the park is amazing if your kid has any interest in Peppa Pig!
We had tickets to meet Santa, a first for my daughter, although the moving characters in the grotto terrified her so much that she wasn't too into meeting him! 
She cried soooo much before we got to see him!
Some of the models were pretty scary...
We tried to get a photo of Santa holding her but she ran off for the exit as soon as we got in there!
She got a present and that cheered her up again though!
Hopefully next year she will smile when she meets him...

写真がとてもすごい組み合わせになってしまいましたが、

まず一枚目：　これは近所にあるデパートのおもちゃ売場でスノーマンの着ぐるみとハグをする娘。
いろいろなところが旦那に似ている娘。
こういう時小さい頃の私はコワくて逃げるタイプなのに娘は自分の何倍もあるこの巨大物体に動じず、
終いには昔からの友達かと突っ込みたくなるぐらい普通に話しかけてる彼女って。。。　
恐るべし娘。将来は心配なさそうだ。うん。
ちなみに映画スノーマン。
小さいいころによく母ノリコに連れられて青山にあるクレヨンハウスの地下にあった(今はレストランかな？）誰もいない映画館でスノーマンを観てたことをそのコワい着ぐるみを見て思い出したなぁ。

二枚目：　Sohoにあるネオン管のお店の入口をパシャリ！実は何気に昔からネオン管を家に飾りたいという夢があったから内心大興奮！！どれもすてきだけど、家にはもっとシンプルのでいいや。

三枚目：　これまたレスタ―スクウェアにと突如として現れた夏の匂いがプンプンするガーデンが！
どうやら何かの映画プレミアに用意されたみたいです。部外者の私がずかずかと入り込んで撮った貴重な写真(笑）でもないか。。


A few random and unrelated pictures for you.
The first is my daughter hugging a ginormous snowman in a department store.
Loads of things about her are similar to my husband; when i was her age i would have run away from this guy but she is completely happy to chat away to this snow guy like she has known him for ages.
I remember watching the Snowman film with my mum in a small cinema underneath a kids bookshop in Tokyo. Nice memories.

The second Picture is from a new(ish) shop in soho that sells neon signs. I always wanted to own one of these things, although i'd prefer something a bit　simpler.
Also this shop made my head feel weird.

This out-of-season tropical flowers appeared in Leicester Square, setting up for a film premier. Don't remember what the film was called but it is that one with Santa or something...

St James's Park

またまた久しぶりになってしまいました。
最近iPhoneで写真を加工して遊んでます！
何日か前になってしまいますが、娘とSt. James's Parkへ行ってきました。
最近どこへでもスクーターで行きます。でもロンドンのセンターは道がデコボコなので
結局スクーターに乗っている娘を私が引っ張るはめに。。ハンドルが中途半端に低いから
結構腰にくる。。。

It's been a little while since i last updated the blog, 
i'm really into this iPhone app for editing photos, changing the colour and light.
This was taken in St James's Park the other day.
I took my daughter down there on her scooter. It's nice now she is a little older and can get around on her own a bit better, although the pavements are so rough i had to push her about half the way and now i have back pain!

なぜか娘は柔らかく居心地のよかろうバギーには乗らず、
その下の冷たい細いパイプに座ってご満悦。でも危ないのでちょっとだけ。。
通る人は結構驚く。そりゃそうだ！しかも前が見えないのに何が楽しいんだろう。。

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE ONE!!! 01.11.2012

今日は娘の誕生日♪2歳になりましたー☆

デコレーションは夜な夜な旦那と作って完成させました！
結構気に入ってます。

朝から頼んでおいたケーキを取りに向かったのですが、
途中スクーターごと水たまりに落ちるというハプニングが起こり服がビショビショに。。
近くの子ども服屋さん(私の大好きな子供服セレクトショップ！）に走っていってワンピースとタイツを購入。

朱色のかわいいドレスが買えた私はお誕生日だしいいよね♡なんて！


Our daughter turned two today!
Can't believe how quickly the time has gone and how much she has grown up!
We made a load of stickers and stuck them together to make the number 2 for her.
Also we went to Primrose Hill to pick up a cake and check out the view on what was a beautiful autumn morning.
She fell in a huge puddle on the way so we had to quickly buy her a new outfit from  Elias and Grace.
It was a lovely day all round and happy birthday sweetheart!

We were in Regent's park this morning for a walk!
It's now officially autumn and it was such a beautiful morning, all foggy and leafy and cold.
We walked around a bit and did some scootin'
London is so well served for parks, quite unique in the world i think, and they are so well maintained. 
We are lucky to live so close to one of our favourites; Regent's Park.

昨日は朝からRegent's parkへ。霧がかかっていて
なんかミステリアス感満載！！
そんな中ひとりスクーターを乗りまわす人、若干一名。

最近スクーター乗ったら速いこと！
でもたまに曲がれずゴミ箱とかに突っ込んでしまうのだけど！

Notting Hill

週末家を見にNotting Hillに行ってきました。
娘は相変わらず一軒一軒のゲートを開けて侵入しようとしています。。
最近さらにすばしっこくなった娘を止めるのが結構大変。。
私たちの手をすり抜けていく～

2枚目の写真は私の大好きなお店！大人服、子供服、雑貨セレクトショップ。
相変わらず素敵でした。娘の前髪、どうにかしなきゃ～でも旦那さまが切らせてくれません。

We are back!

昨日の夜中に旅行から帰ってまいりました！
いゃ～とてもおもしろいところ。
火山でできた島なので、砂漠のような景色が広がっているのにその向かい側はエメラルドグリーンの海！
25度ぐらいだと思って行ったら30度以上で焼けるほどに暑く、海に行くのは夕方から。

娘も海でパチャパチャ、プールでパチャパチャとっても楽しんでいました！

かえって来たら寒い。。飛行機の中のアナウンスで気温8度と聞いた時はみんなから悲鳴が。。

Family Holiday!

私たちは今スペインのカナリア諸島に来ていまーす！
温度28度前後と暖かく、海もとってもキレイ！
ここに一週間の滞在する予定です。
Villaにはプールがあるので、義母は孫と泳ぐ特訓をするとはりきってます。

We are in Canary Islands for a week, enjoying the 28 degree heat!
Hopefully some good swimming practice for our daughter and some beautiful sunsets and scenery for us.

昨日はこれまたご近所のあやめちゃんが少しの時間でしたが遊びに来てくれました！！
食いしん坊のうちの子にお菓子を分けてくれたやさしいあやめちゃん。
パパ似で完全ウェスタ～ンなお顔がかわい！！
しかしうちの子はたてによこにでかい。。5か月も年下なのにな～

今日も雨。。何をやろうかな～まずは魔女の宅急便を観覧中。キキ～と叫んでおります。

最近始めたIGにはまりそう。

My Bike

わたしの足になってくれている自転車を紹介します。
色は全部(ハンドルバー以外は）自分で選んだのですが、こうやって見るとやっぱり派手です。
結構な確率で子どもに指をさされます。
たまにシックな感じの自転車にも憧れるけど、やっぱりこのバイクがお気に入り。
旦那からのプレゼントということもあってとても大事に乗っています。

ちなみに旦那はBMX,Fixed Gearとスケートボードをアメリカのティーンエージャーのように乗りまわしております。

Run Before You Can Walk

いつもの公園、リージェントパークへ。ロンドンは今20度前後の気温。
一つ何かを羽織れば散歩には快適な気候！
ゆっくり風なんか感じちゃって・・・

とはいきません。。

娘の辞書には歩くという文字は無く走るのみ。
いつも走ってます。
だからよく転ぶ。。
でも最近は泣かなくなり、無言でスクっと立ちあがりまた走り続けます。
さすがうちの子。強いです。


Here we are again in Regent's park, as usual!
The weather in London is around 20 degrees so with a long sleeve top it's the perfect temperature for walking around, enjoying the fresh air and feeling the wind in our hair...
except that's not really possible with this one, charging around everywhere at top speed.
My daughter has no word for walking in her vocabulary!
She falls over so much, her legs getting tied up in knots. These days she rarely cries and just picks herself up, dusts her hands off and starts running again.
She got pretty brave this little strong lady.

Tシャツはオーガニックコットンを使い、プリントもロンドンで仕上げました。


今回ブランドを立ち上げるにあたっていろいろと初めてな事ばかりで
時間がかかってしまい1カ月遅れのスタートとなりましたが、周りの方々に助けられここまでこれました。みんなありがとう！！

今後も旦那の描いたデザインTシャツはもちろん、本格的に洋服のデザインも展開して行けたらなと考えています。

Paralympic

昨日は朝からパラリンピックのマラソンを見に行ってきました。
オリンピックに引き続きのマラソン、また同じ所で見ることができました。
もちろんどの選手が通っても大きな拍手、でも日本人の選手のときは、
「がんばれ～がんばれ～日本～」と一生懸命に応援。
そしたら娘も途中から「がんばれ～」って！大きな声で拍手をしながら叫んでました。


Went to see the Paralympic marathon, 
watched from the same place we saw the marathon in the Olympics.
I was clapping for everyone but shouting especially loud for Japanese runners.
Our daughter was joining in, shouting go go go!
